JOB TITLE: Training Coordinator

SUPERVISOR: Quality Assurance Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Training Coordinator is responsible for developing the knowledge and skills of the company’s workforce. The Training Coordinator will ensure that the company can meet our current and future business objectives and deliver quality products and services that meet our customer’s needs. By developing skills and helping individuals reach their potential, Training Coordinators help to build employee satisfaction, making it easier for the company to attract and retain a quality workforce.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:



Treats all coworkers, patient and families with dignity and respect, ensuring their right for modesty and privacy at all times.



Consistently demonstrates courtesy in the patient’s homes, on the telephone and with co-workers.



Maintains strict confidentiality of the patient and company information.



Demonstrates competence in identifying immediate trainee and/or patient needs, and responds to those needs effectively.



Acts professional and efficiently at all times, keeping personal phone calls and interactions at an absolute minimum.


Displays ability to listen attentively and eagerness to learn new skills.


Willingly seeks additional work when assigned tasks are completed.

Safety:


Follows manufacturer’s guidelines and company policies for the operation and utilization of all equipment and supplies.


Become familiar with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Special projects


Travel to locations when needed

Maintain sales orders for all locations (audits, trends, clean-up)

Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
The Training Coordinator must be capable of creating a positive learning environment, conveying objectives clearly, encouraging and motivating trainees, and evaluating learning outcomes. They must also monitor training costs against budgets and ensure they make the most efficient use of the company resources.

SKILL:
Must possess a high level of analytical and planning skills to assess training needs and utilize programs that best meet those needs. Must be capable of evaluating the competency levels of individual trainees so that they can w
