Sending an Order – The Process

At Healthline, we strive to make the process as easy as possible for your office staff! At this time, we accept emailed or faxed orders to any of our locations throughout Texas. Once we receive your order, we fax a confirmation with acceptance or denial of the order for your records. From there, our team of experts will verify insurance, obtain required documentation, and authorization when required, all while keeping your patient informed of the order progression through scheduling and setup. Our continued follow-up and compliance monitoring are the best in Texas!

Complex Rehab Technology

Documentation Requirements: Prescription (RX), Physician Chart Notes, Physical Therapy Notes.

Process: Intake, insurance verification and scheduling, evaluation and equipment simulation / trial, equipment specification report,  insurance coding, medical documentation preparation, prior authorization request and insurance predetermination, ordering / receiving of products, assembly and adjustment of products, delivery fitting and training of equipment, billing and collection, and finally - post-delivery follow-up to ensure 100% client satisfaction. 

Qualifications: Vary by equipment and diagnosis. Please reach out to our experts for the specific needs of the client.

Service Request

Oxygen & Respiratory Therapy

Documentation Requirements: Prescription (RX), Face to Face Notes, additional testing when applicable, may include SpO2 / oximetry testing, Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), or Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) based on oxygen equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Oxygen
    • 1) Lowest saturation less than or equal to 88% at rest
    • Or 2) Sleeping 88% or below for at least 5 cumulative minutes
    • Or 3) Exercise requires testing at rest, exercise (88% or below) and exercise with oxygen showing an improvement
    • Or 4) DELTA with a 5% overall desaturation during sleep testing.
  • Nebulizer – Diagnosis specific equipment.

 

Sleep Therapy

Documentation Requirements: Prescription (RX), Face to Face Notes, Sleep Study (PSG), Titration Study.

Qualifications:

  • CPAP – The AHI / RDI must be greater than or equal to 15 events per hour with a minimum of 30 events.
    • Or – The AHI or RDI must be between 5 and 14 events per hour with a minimum of 10 events AND excessive daytime sleepiness, impaired cognition, mood disorders, or insomnia;
    • Or – Hypertension, ischemic heart disease, or history of stroke.
  • BiPAP – Diagnosis-specific equipment (CPAP trial may be required when applicable)
  • BiPAP ST – Diagnosis-specific equipment

 

Ventilation Therapy

Documentation Requirements: Prescription (RX), Face to Face Notes, Hospital admission history and notes, Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Arterial Blood Gas (ABG), etc.
